Dan Hassinger was born and raised in Decatur, Illinois. He is a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force and Veteran Police Officer. As a police officer Dan investigated and solved some of the toughest crimes in Central Illinois. After a 15-year career as a police officer, Dan attended the University of Illinois College of Law and was admitted to practice in 2010.
As a trial lawyer, Dan took on tough cases immediately out of law school. Dan's trial experience ranges from Driving Under the Influence Cases to Serious Felony Cases, including First Degree Murder cases. Dan also has trial experience in a wide variety of different types of cases.
Dan also provides legal services to non-profit organizations and small-business concerns which includes serving as General Counsel to the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police.
